If you add the very short rue du Dragon to the very long rue du Cherche-Midi, you can go all the way from St. Germain des Près to the Montparnasse tower without ever leaving the street.
This fully furnished, 3 bedroom, 2 bath apartment is located in a late 18th century building that sits on the corner of a building overlooking the rue du Cherche-Midi. With windows on 3 sides, the flat is very light and ensconced in a tranquil setting. Originally two flats that were joined together, the flat's ample space allows for privacy for those members of the group who may choose to go to bed early without being disturbed by those who might want to stay up late. Just one flight up, the flat is easily accessible from the street.
The apartment has a cosy décor that corresponds to the calm, agreeable atmosphere that pervades the building. The kitchen is fully equipped with a dishwasher, microwave, vitro-ceramic stove top, oven, etc. Both bedrooms have queen size beds composed of two twin beds joined together. This allows for maximum flexibility, as the beds can either be made up into single or queen size beds, and a trundle bed in the smaller bedroom can sleep to, so altogether, the apartment could easily up to 6 persons.
There are three levels of security in the building: one digicode for the street door, another digicode for the stairwell door, and the door lock itself.
The closest metro stations are ST PLACIDE, SEVRES BABYLONE, and VANEAU. The recently renovated Hotel Ferrandi is just 2 buildings down the street and the world famous Poilâne Bakery is at the opposite end of the street, down towards St. Germain des Près. The Bonmarché department store with its gourmet grocery store (La Grande Epicerie) is just a few blocks away as well. There is also a taxi stand down the street, about 2 blocks away.
