Wonderful place with a wonderful view
We had a perfect week in the Apartment on 1. floor. The Apartment had everything we needed and a great charm. we enjoyed very much the terrace, with a beautiful view over the town and up to the Mountains. The hosts were very friendly and helpful.

A perfect couple of days
We spent 2 nights at Maison bellevue in July and could easily have stayed longer. Our hosts were helpful and a wealth of information - they booked us in for an incredible lunch that we never would've discovered on our own. The apartment has everything you could need, including a very well-equipped kitchen. You feel like you're in the country, but it's only a few minutes walk to the Munster town square. Which is a great spot for local markets and there are a couple of good boulangeries to get the day started. We had a fantastic stay and would definitely return if we're in the area. I can't recommend maison Bellevue highly enough.

Great base for an a holiday
We felt at home in this quaint, lovely old house on the hill and the apartment was really spacious, bright and very clean. The kitchen had more utensils than you would normally find in a rental, beds firm and comfortable with crisp white clean linnen. The comfortably warm and cosy. We are keen walkers so enjoyed the lovely walks through the forest and on to the lake's village of Munster. The railway station is very handy and so were able to venture out with out a car to other great areas for hiking, Christmas markets in Colmar and Strasbourg. The only criticism we could find was the trains ceased running at 22:00, too early and unfortunately we did not know the farmer's markets close at midday so we were too late to buy the produce there. Other shops were open though but not quite the same. There are so many wonderful museums like Tommy Ungerer's and the Alsatian Museum in Strasbourg or the National Car Museum in Mulhouse. Just too many to see in one week. Will definitely return to stay at the Maison Bellevue in Munster again.

A good base for exploring Alsace
Our apartment was comfortable and had everything you need, the owners are helpfull and they know everything about the area. The view is magnificient and we liked the fact that we leave our car on the parking and walk everywhere. We are keen walkers and found new trails everyday starting just from the house. And we liked going to the nearby pool and use the outside sauna and spa, it is often open late. Munster is a nice small town, they are quirky boutiques like the patisserie Guthleben with its decor from the 50's and opposite the Droguerie Guthleben were you can find rare goodies like old style cleaning products black liquid soap from Favre, gallstoane soap for stains. We also found an amazing shop Hermann grainaiterie, that only sells healthfoods, the owner must be nearly 90 years old. We liked eating at the Schlitte restaurant, very friendly owners; But the best vallue is La nouvelle Auberge in Wihr au val, lunchtime menu is only 10 euros for 3 courses.
