Alloro is a very cozy and comfortable apartment. One of it's important characteristics is that you can park your car nearby with no problem because it's out of the Traffic Restricted Area. It's also only 5' walking distance from Santa Croce Church, Piazzale Michellangelo and Ponte Vecchio. It's a perfect place to stay in Florence in all seasons!
The apartment itself is built in a small building that embodies a part of an ancient town walls. You can see parts of it in Alloro, beautifully evidenced with white colour. It's perfect for two people, but it can also host other two in the mezzanine you can reach by stylish narrow metal stairs (not particularly children friendly!) from the studio. Unique photographs decorate the white walls of this part that you find right on the left as soon as you enter the apartment, and an antique writing desk that completes the feeling of a real home.
Central hall leads to the other part of the apartment: on the left you'll get to the surprisingly nice living room, with studied objects that transform this place in a relaxing nest. The fully equipped kitchenette is hidden behind sliding doors and the table with chairs seem almost a part of the decoration of the room.
Just in front of the entrance, at the end of the corridor, you arrive to the night zone with a double canopied bed and the adjacent part with the full bathroom and lumber-room.
The street San Niccolò is considered the oldest one in the town and it is a center for authentic places that go from art galleries, traditional clubs, handcraft workrooms and shops to restaurants, ice-cream shops and bars.
