Fantastic holiday home in a superb location
We love Lyme Regis and are delighted to have found the ideal holiday home to stay in (especially as they accept pets). The property itself is suitable for a large family, with plenty of beds, great facilities and a lovely outdoor space for when the sun is shining. It's location is ideal for all the amenities Lyme Regis has to offer, we didn't need to use our car for the whole week!! The the owners were extremely helpful with lots of information prior to our stay and were easily contactable should you require it. We would highly recommend and cannot wait to stay there again.

Lovely holiday in cosy, well-equipped cottage
We had a wonderful holiday in this lovely cottage, which is situated in a tucked-away location just off the sea-front. The cottage is thoughtfully appointed, and the kitchen has lots of little extras which make it feel like a home-from-home rather than a holiday let. There is a pretty courtyard garden at the back, which is nice to sit in or have a barbecue in. Lyme Regis is full of pretty side streets, courtyards and interesting shops and galleries to visit, and a good selection of cafes and restaurants. There is a nice shop just around the corner from the cottage with beautifully made silver jewellery, where I couldn't resist buying a ring. It is worth mentioning that the someone unsure of their footing might find the stairs a little tricky, and also that it is necessary to park the car in a car park nearby (permit provided, so no cost). However if that is not a problem then you will not regret booking this cottage for a holiday or short break. We had a wonderful time! The Griffiths Family, Bath

Long weekend with the family
What a fabulous place to wile away a few days... Warm, comfortable and full of character. A party of 6 adults and we brought along our 2 year old and 4 year old nieces and a little dog - suffice to say we were all very comfortable and the property lent itself beautifully to nanny and grandad having their own space in the annexe! 2 minute walk to the beach and shops, we couldn't believe how fabulous the location would be! AMAZING breakfast served up at the bakery a 30 second walk away, and endless beach for the girls to play on safely while the grown ups put the world to rights in one of the many beach side pubs and cafes. I cannot recommend this little gem highly enough, we were very warmly greeted by Charles who ensured we knew where everything was and that we had everything we could possibly need. We are already thinking about when we can come back !!! Thank you Charles, from Madeleine and the rest of the Hills

Wonderful location
Appletrees is in the perfect location with access to restaurants, shopping and the beach. Having stayed there for two years, we have already rebooked for 2012! The property is in good condition and also now offers Wi-Fi for those all important work emails :-( !!!! The garden terrace is the perfect location for the evening barbeques and although close to the town, it is very quite. Two showers, a bath, washing machine and dryer all help make it a great place to stay, highly recommended.

This delightful Georgian cottage (Visit England 4 star rating), is one of a picturesque row close to the church and overlooking a quiet square. It is very warm, comfortable and well equipped. Charming enclosed garden and separate annexe sleeping further 3 people. One of the best locations in Lyme; choice of two totally different beaches- one famous for fossils, each only 2/3 minutes walk. Shops just around the corner.
'Appletrees' is gas centrally heated and provided with everything you will need in the way of bed linen, towels, duvets, pans, crockery and cutlery. In the kitchen there is a 4 ring gas hob and built-in electric cooker, microwave, fridge, freezer and dishwasher. The spacious dining area with long table and bench seats is open through to the lounge, where ample comfortable seating and colour TV create a cosy family room. A door leads upstairs to bedrooms, bathroom and garden. The pretty patio garden, equipped with table, chairs and benches, is safe and enclosed.
Across the garden the 'boathouse' comprises day room, bedroom for 3, shower and laundry.
Lyme Regis is a lovely little town with something for everyone. Apart from the attractions of beach, harbour, pubs, cliff top rambles and golf course, the town itself is full of picturesque buildings and little alleyways. Close to 'Appletrees' runs the river, on its way through the town. Here you will meet Lyme's other residents - ducks!
