With its nautical themed decor and coastal stripes this holiday property guarantees a taste of local coastal living. The beach is just a few minutes stroll away. In summary there is a brand new integrated kitchen complete with dishwasher, washing machine and microwave, sitting room, dining room, 2 bedrooms (one king with room for a cot and a twin that can be converted to a king double), a family sized bathroom with wall mounted shower and shower over bath, a walled courtyard with bistro table and chairs complete with bbq. The cottage offers a home from home experience with added touches of luxury.
The cottage is a calm, welcoming space in which friends and family can relax together. Light floods into the kitchen and dining room and the bedrooms have great views. The main bedroom looks out across rooftops to St Andrews church opposite and the back bedroom across the wisteria fringed walls of the Conservation Area. The cottage is equipped with latest technology including Wi-Fi, 3D tv and ipod docking station. A welcome basket awaits you.
In the dining room there is a large wooden country style dining table next to a fireplace with a cast iron range. This table is perfect for enjoying meals or simply use it for board games, card games and fun kids activities. On warm days relax with the kitchen stable door open to the courtyard…take a fresh cafeteria or pot of tea outside to enjoy in the sunshine. Later in the day, heat up the coals and grill some locally sourced fresh fish and relax to the sounds of the gulls calling overhead. There is rear access to the courtyard to store bikes and is completely enclosed for your privacy. A high chair is available and a up cycled drum table is perfect for young children to eat and colour at.
The main bedroom has a king size bed and the back bedroom can be a twin or a double (king) as you choose. Coastal style throws cover the beds and there is plenty of space for hanging clothes. Both bedrooms feature cast iron fireplaces. Retro chairs and framed local prints add further character. A cot can be provided on request (please bring your own linen for the cot). Vintage books for the adults and bedtime reads for the kids. Bed linen and towels are provided and are included in the price.
The sitting room can be used for relaxing whether this is watching the 3D TV (with glasses and some 3D DVDs provided), making use of the free Wi-Fi service or simply enjoying a vintage or more recent book from our library. Children can pick a DVD from our selection, or play with the supplied games & toys.
