The house sleeps 8, in 4 Bedrooms with King or Double size beds with 2 bathrooms and a separate utility room and toilet. All season goose feather duvets combined with Egyptian cotton linens will ensure a comfortable end to a day on the fells or visiting the sights and a restful sleep ready for tomorrow's adventure.
The property has a full Sky HD package for guests to enjoy through a surround sound and music system. With Broadband provided plus an IPod player, a library of books and even some traditional games, including Boules and Crouquet. There are also walking maps available for use should guests want to explore the area.
Ground Floor
With underfloor oil fired central heating Bretherdale Hall briefly comprises of:
Lounge: opening to the front porch a spacious lounge with large sofas, wood coal burning stove set in a fireplace, TV with Sky, DVD and CD hi fi, and views towards the Howgate fell
Breakfast Kitchen: Fully stocked with good plenty of good quality crockery, fridge/freezer, microwave, Rayburn Cooker, conventional oven and hob and dishwasher. This area also has a breakfast area.
Dining/Garden Room: Has breathtaking views of the valley towards Bretherdale head and the Fells, with dining table and comfy seating and patio doors leading to and outside eating area and the garden beyond.
Utility Room: With washing machine and tumble drier and downstairs WC and recycling boxes to help you organise.
First Floor
Bedroom 1: Master bedroom with king size bed and views towards Grange Scar and the Pennines beyond. Stairs lead to a separate dressing area and en-suite with shower over bath, hand basin, WC and heated towel rail.
House Bathroom: With shower over bath, hand basin, WC and heated towel rail.
Bedroom 2:A delightful double bedroom with a magnificent chandelier, king size bed and views towards the Pennines.
Bedroom 3: Double bedroom with king size bed and views of the brook to the front of the house.
Bedroom 4: Double bedroom enjoying wonderful views of the valley towards Bretherdale Head.
All heating, electric, bed linen and towels are provided. The house has under floor heating throughout the downstairs with conventional radiators upstairs. Cot and highchair are available for a small cost. A Barbeque for those who enjoy alfresco dining is provided. A Scuttle of coal and a basket of logs is provided for the multi-fuel stove.
