Coast/Beach:
The sparkling waters of the Mediterranean Sea await you at Mandria Beach, just 1 km away. It is a leisurely 15 minute walk to the coast through lovely agricultural land or accessed by car. The beaches are mainly shingle with some sandy coves. Snorkelling and water-sports are offered in the area. There is a beach bar which opens during the summer months. There are also a number of other local beaches in the area, all of which are generally flat and easily accessible.
Travel:
The property is 4 km from Paphos Airport making it a quick and easy car drive. Car hire is not essential in Mandria as you have 2 supermarkets, a bank, 2 tavernas, a Restaurant, a Bistro & a new Bar in the village. However, we would recommend hiring a car if you want to visit the many historic sights & beaches of Cyprus.

Mandria Village has two tavernas, a restaurant, an excellent fish and chip shop, Cypriot restaurant and a Bar. It has two well stocked supermarkets, a coffee shop and a bank. The tavernas have good food if not extensive menus and all are reasonably priced. The Restaurants have an excellent menu of local & European food. The area is excellent for walking, hiking, cycling and water-sports.Paphos has a host of scuba diving clubs who will gladly cater for inexperienced and experienced divers alike. Birdwatchers and nature lovers will find the area a rewarding experience, there are many nature trails on the island.
