Aphrodite Sands Resort is a newly constructed (completion June 2010) resort located in a quiet residential area of Mandria within a short drive (10Km) of Paphos Town and Harbour area and 5Km from Paphos airport. Mandria is ideal for nature lovers, with gentle views over rolling fields and fruit orchards. The area is well known for its flora, and bird watching. As well as the fruit orchards, the area has a number of peanut plantations. Mandria being a village doesn’t suffer from hordes of tourists. Consequently the secluded beach coves at Mandria are often empty or very quiet. Within Mandria village there is a bank a small, supermarket, gift and coffee shops together with a bakery and a home-made icecream parlour. Around the village square are traditional Tavernas where you can sit outside under a grape vine. Just a short drive away is a large supermarket.
About the Apartments:
These 2 bedroom luxury apartments are equipped to sleep 4 people and comprise of one double bedroom with en-suite and one twin bedded room bed, both bedrooms have floor to ceiling Italian design wardrobes – so plenty of storage space. The apartments are well appointed with Italian designed kitchen having oven/hob and extractor fan, fridge/freezer, washing machine, microwave, kettle and toaster, as well as ample supplies of crockery, glassware and a bottle opener. The living room has two and three seater settees and benefits from having a LCD TV, satellite receiver and DVD player so take your favourite DVD’s with you. The patio furniture and sun loungers are provided for long days in the sun, but when you need to cool down the apartments have air conditioning.
Outside in the extensive grounds you have the use of two pools, one with a entry slope for easy access into the water and safe for children with a waterfall and palms and a large rock feature all surrounded by gardens and walking paths, there is also a small play area for children with swings and roundabouts. Located beneath swimming pools is a fully fitted Health and Fitness suite with Spa Jacuzzi whirlpool and a large sauna steam room. As you would expect from such a luxury facility treatments rooms provide beauty care with special rates from time to time.
