Thick stone walls, lots of windows, built around a central courtyard, wooden shutters are a feature of Cypriot architecture. Cool courtyards in summer filled with grape vines and a riot of colour in the scattered flower pots. In winters a warm suntrap for a peaceful lunch or a cool drink with a good book. The house plan is ideally suited for relaxation. There are four apartments in all, 3 x 1 bedroom (2 beds) and 1 x 2 bedrooms (4 beds). Each apartment can accommodate 2-3 extra people in the living area. All apartments have their own bathroom with bath and a combined lounge/kitchen, patio or balcony TV, air conditioning and central heating making our apartments suitable for both summer and winter holidays. We have Wi-Fi internet access in the whole house. It is ideal for let as a villa where friends can enjoy holidaying together but in their own accommodations.
The house is very near the village square and all amenities. There is a wellness center just off the village square where you can pamper yourself and of course, Kontoyiannis guests are offered a discount. Also located in the village are numerous restaurants and outdoor eating places so you can really relax and unwind. If you have children there are a couple of small parks where they can play.
If you want to visit our orchard just a few minutes’ walk from the house you can pick your own fruit, there are oranges, figs, pomegranates, grapes and many other fruit. We also have lots of olive trees and will happily show you how they are harvested and the olive oil is made.
We are a short 5 minute drive from Zygi marina and fishing village and 7 minute drive to the popular but secluded Governors beach with secluded beaches and wonderful local restaurants.
There is a camel park about 20 minutes drive from the house, next to the beach which is ideal for taking the children.
All in all the house is good for families or couples who want to relax in a peaceful environment.
