Surrounded by a full landscaping scheme, Artisan 1 benefits from shade, color and smell. The design aims to provide the resident with an experience of the diversity native to our island, at the same time enhancing the privacy of this property which has a 12m frontage facing the Cape Greco coastline. We are located within walking distance to the Blue Flag Konnos Bay, accessed via a nature trail that is an extension of the E4 European Nature Trail system-Europe's absolute best!
This property is special, and we invite you to examine it with more than a casual look, especially if you are interested in environmental design, architecture and landscaping. We have incorporated solar rooms, a double skinned roof, and have addressed natural ventilation and lighting to the best way possible. This is a house which if properly used, does not require air conditioning at all.
Though the house intentionally does not reveal its virtues from the private drive, on entry the ground floor spaces including the living room and kitchen offer expansive views to the sea and the private pool. In particular, the lounge and kitchen areas offer full width windows that open up towards the east-facing private swimming pool.
The breezy kitchen area opens up towards the pool patio. The kitchen furniture and design is absolutely top spec. We offer a complete range by Miele, a wall mounted TV and a breezy breakfast table.
The pool is set within a green environment, with direct sea views, and is very private. There is a pool shower conveniently located near the steps, as well as a great pergola that shields from the morning, noon and afternoon sun.
The sunbathing area is fully exposed from morning till early afternoon, when the day becomes too warm, and is located by the pool.
On the first floor, there are two master bedroom suites, which share a bathroom. both with tall white ceilings, good cross ventilation and ceiling fans, one has the benefit of a balcony with great sea views. These two bedrooms share a bathroom, well lit-ventilated and tastefully appointed. We generate solar hot water for your use.
On the first floor we also have the children bedroom-a breezy room with two single beds expandable to two doubles. A 10m2 loft can be accessed via a ladder, on request, to sleep two more children.
We have provided on the ground floor for a small single bed room with an adjacent ground floor shower. This can be helpful to an elderly-though small the room is very well appointed, with a garden facing window, ceiling fans, climate control, various shelves and cabinets. From experience teenagers also seem to be very fond of this room.
The Artisan Resort is especially child friendly. Children and parents appreciate the Artisan's landscaped park and the gated private street. Great for nature lovers, the area offers a captivating scenery where live above and below water abounds in myriads of forms. The scuba diving in the submarine parts of the National Park is renowned. The area has been inhabited by neolithic times and offers immense interest to the interested. Couples can enjoy walks via a coastal nature path to the nearby Grecian Park hotel and its facilities, such as the Cliffs Bar, or they can venture to the seaside restaurant-bar at Konnos.
