All the beauty of this area is combined in as much as 4 surrounding national parks: Paklenica, Kornati, Krka and Plitvice Lakes!
Since Villa Kristina is distanced just 20 meters from the sea, with concrete and pebble beach right in front of the villa, it is suitable for a family summer holiday, while the nearby tennis courts, sports fields and water-sports equipment guarantee a really active stay. Spelunkers and mountaineers can enjoy the Velebit and Paklenica massifs, while walkers and plant collectors will find many magnificent walks on the slopes of the National Park. There are also many cultural events, including artistic performances and other forms of entertainment.
Do not forget that National Park Paklenica is distanced just 1,5 km form Villa Kristina! Paklenica includes two canyons: Velika and Mala Paklenica (Grand and Small Paklenica). A creek flows through the 10km-long Velika Paklenica, and its steep sides are up to 400m high. Velika and Mala Paklenica are separated by a 7km long and 500m high plateau.
The food available in local restaurants and konobe, centers around the local cuisine, including fish specialities, lamb, smoked ham and cheese.
