Very pleased with appearance and how clean the condo was. Great location in center of Mahone Bay, in walking distance to restaurants, shops and grocery store. Easy day drives to Halifax, Chester and Lunenburg.

The Perfect South Shore Experience
Having spent my early adult years in and around Nova Scotia's South Shore I was excited to return with my wife and daughter after 30 years. Mahone Bay epitomizes the warmth, charm and romance of this historic area. It is a very comfortable drive to Halifax for the city experience or a shorter drive to the Unesco World heritage site of Lunenburg. Really we were not motivated to leave the charm of Mahone Bay. This unit is right in the heart of the village and we could walk to everything. Views of Mahone Bay were striking. The place was spotlessly clean and obviously well cared for. With many maritime touches in the decor we felt like local residents, albeit temporarily.

Mahone Sweet Home
This condo is in the perfect location in Mahone Bay. You can walk to everything. Bonnie was an absolute delight to deal with. It was our first time in Nova Scotia and we can't imagine staying anywhere else. The condo was very clean and comfortably slept 4 adults, had all the amenities that you would ever need, was quiet and relaxing and had a great deck to relax on. We would highly recommend this home away from home rental! We eagerly await a chance to visit again!

A great "home away from home"
After having to evacuate my home following a flood, I was faced with finding accomodations for approximately six weeks. From the minute that I spoke with the property owners, they have treated me with so much kindness and generosity. My stay at the Mahone Bay condo was a great "home away from home" and it gave me a sense of calmness and peace throughout an otherwise difficulty time.

Great spot in Mahone Bay
Excellent location. Condo very well appointed and kept in great shape. Kitchen had all appliances you would ever need. Might be a good idea to let renters know that you have a Keurig coffee maker as we bought drip coffee before getting there - not a big deal. Covered parking is a real plus as it is often tough to get parking on the street. Liked the patio with the morning sun. Would definitely come back again when we retrun to Nova Scotia and Mahone Bay.

Perfect!
We rented this property for family, (2 adults, 2 children, (ages 7 and 10)), who were coming to visit us in Mahone Bay for 2 weeks. The loved it at first sight, and every day without fail, commented on how perfect it was. The place itself is immaculate, luxurious, and completely self sufficient. The set up allowed for the kids to have a good sized room each, the master is large, and all the other rooms very good sizes too, so loads of space. Location could not be more convenient with everything Mahone Bay offers, literally just outside your door. Owners extremely welcoming, accommodating, efficient, and excellent to deal with. We will be renting this place again for family and friends. Highly recommend!

Wonderful accomadation & location
We stayed here for the whole month of August, 2017 and thoroughly enjoyed both the condo and the town of Mahone Bay and the vicinity. The location gave us a chance to explore the well known "south shore" area of Nova Scotia and be less than a 1 hour drive to it's capital, Halifax. The condo has everything you could think of, is very tastily decorated and centrally located. There are many good restaurants,nice stores and fabulous bakeries. You will not be disappointed. The owner's (John & Bonnie) were wonderful to deal with.

Tastefully decorated condominium, 2 bedrooms + den. Open concept living/dining room with vaulted ceiling, charming window seat & well-stocked library. Separate den with skylight. Spacious master bedroom featuring custom stained glass windows and sliding doors to a welcoming deck. Spiral stairs leading to a loft sleeping area.
Amenities include a fully equipped kitchen, microwave, dishwasher, washer-dryer, hi-speed internet & WiFi, Smart TV, and DVD and BBQ. The building has an elevator.
With the comfort of its guests in mind, special details include all the little touches that you are looking for. The large deck overlooks the lovely and tranquil setting of Mahone Bay's colourful waterfront. The town of Mahone Bay is one of the most admired and well known seaside towns in Atlantic Canada offering a wide array of amenities. This property is ideally located for experiencing all of the sites of Nova Scotia's South Shore. A great locality to enjoy golfing, fishing, boating, cycling, sea kayaking, live theatre, museums and galleries, craft shops and fine dining. Only 10 short minutes to Lunenburg Harbour, a UNESCO Heritage Site renowned for its pristine architecture, working waterfront & the Bluenose II. Only 50 minutes to Halifax.
Unfortunately, the condominium corporation no longer permits pets with a short term tenancy. Service dogs are exempt.
Although there are three separate sleeping areas the condominium regulations permit occupancy by two persons only.
