I've been fortunate to visit a number of the islands in the Caribbean. The chain of Abacos islands are not to be missed. Donna and Jamie's place is perfect. In all honestly, the pictures don't do it justice. It is beautiful. From the moment you walk in, there's a kitchen with all of the amenities and more. Each bedroom is beautiful. When you look at the family room, you're eyes are immediately drawn to the backyard. The beach and ocean is all yours. You can put lounge chairs in a foot of water and sit there all day...or sit in the hammock...or kayak...or take the boat out for a spin. Activities that we loved: 1) We fished with JR Albury's son Charles for a half day. We probably caught 30 snapper (Yellowtail, Lane, and Mangrove) and that was dinner for the next 4 nights. So much fun and tasted fantastic. 2) We bought groceries at Maxwell's in Marsh Harbour. They had everything you could want. Not common in the Bahamas. 3) We took the Shearwater Catamaran out with Captain Bruce. Incredible day and he's a phenomenal singer/musician which made the trip that much more memorable 4) I went diving with Dive Abaco (Fowl Cay). The tunnels, caves, and reef system rivaled any that I've seen in the Caribbean. Capt. Keith was a great guide. 5) Places we ate at: Pete's Pub (great fish, cool place). Curly Tails (conch burrito, fish tacos- both really good), Nippers (we only drank there, but their Sunday party is not to be missed if you want music and dancing), Abaco Club (Private club but was really nice). Donna was a pleasure to work with. She gave me so many tips. If there was a sixth star, this place would get it.Jeffrey L.

A chunk of Paradise
This was my 3rd visit. The residence is very private an the beach stretches on for long walks .The kitchen has all your cooking needs. It is immaculately clean, spacious, tastefully decorated has the most comfortable bedding an coldest AC. This new 2 story beach home gives an overview of paradise. If you are not looking for the hustle or entertainment of a big city this is the place for you. Nature is literally your backdoor. The home is equipped with kayaks and a boat. We explored by kayak the "blue hole" a 15 -20 minute paddle from the beach house and snorkeled these crystal clear waters. Not leaving the site we saw schools of bonefish , starfish and abundant sand dollars. Truly a pristine location. We also ventured in the boat offshore an visited the historic Cherokee Sound and surrounding islands. Whether your a homebody or not I recommend transportation as theres much to see in surrounding area as well. We spent a day at a local beach where we gathered various shades of sea glass an relaxed and marveled an the rock and reef formation that makes this area so unique. For some socialization and entertainment stop by the infamous "Pete's Pub" , a local hideaway with a superb chef and lively conversation. Donna an James are kind and welcoming hosts and where available if needed.Maria p.

Second Trip to Paridise
This was are second year in a row renting the Mango Beach House. We have 2 teenage boys who are complete opposites. One likes to relax and one cannot sit still. You can do so much fish, dive, swim, snorkel, or just pull up a chair on the beach. A perfect combination ! Renting the boat is a must. As always the house was in pristine condition. James & Donna treat you like you are family and Pete's Pub is awesome. We will be back !!Anthony
