Five3Five is a beautifully restored vintage Queenslander with a seafront position at desirable Shelly Beach close to the hub of the Urangan Pier district. The blend of ancient Asian decor with modern appliances and fittings combined with the outdoor element within each apartment provides a wonderful ambience for a unique holiday experience.
Convenient access to Hervey Bay’s tranquil waters to enjoy use of our complimentary water toys such as fishing equipment, boogie boards, kayaks and lifejackets. The predominantly shady shared bike and pedestrian Esplanade pathway meanders 14km along the foreshore with stunning views of the sparkling waters, Urangan Pier and Fraser Island.
Complimentary use of bikes of all sizes and tow carts for our younger guests can add a different and wonderful dimension to your holiday exploring. Ideally situated for leisurely walks on the treelined foreshore pathway or for strolling along the beach with the vista of a stunning sunset over the water.
Apartments is fully air-conditioned, self-catering, tastefully decorated to a high standard, facing the beachfront and ranging in size from 60 to 100 square meters. Bath towels and linen are included. We do not provide beach towels or personal toiletries. Full servicing is on a weekly basis. Starter packs include coffee, tea, sugar, milk, dishwasher tablets, dishwashing liquid and hand soap. Guest discounts available on some tour packages.

Fully furnished 2-bedroom ground floor apartment with outdoor seating in the shady front garden. All apartments face the waterfront with views of the foreshore greenery. Communal washing machines, shared BBQ and Pizza Oven.
Guests have access to kayaks with life vests, bikes with helmets and optional tow carts for children, fishing gear and beach toys. There is a 14km bike path running along the waterfront.
Guest are greeted personally on check-in and shown around the property. There are 2 helpers living at the apartments who are there to assist as needed. These are private self-catering apartments with a lot of open, communal space. Interaction with other guests or your host is within whatever parameter you choose. We recommend Apartment #3 for couples or families with older children. This apartment is adjacent to the driveway on the sunny side of the building.
We are on the waterfront in a residential area of Urangan. It is about a 15 minute walk (950 meters) to the Pier district. There are restaurants, cafes and weekly markets in this area. It is a 10 minute walk (800 meters) to the Urangan Shopping Centre with a Woolworth's, Butcher, Pharmacy, Post Office, etc. Across the street is a free BBQ area with public facilities. There is also an outdoor beach shower across the road and in the front garden. Best of all... It is directly opposite the beach!
Convenient public transport available with 4 different bus routes that pass the front of Five3Five. There is also a courtesy shuttle to the RSL and to the Boat Club.
We offer discounts on tours with several whale watch companies July to November and for Lady Elliot Island and with some Fraser Island Tour Operators.
Portacot, high chair and plastic dishes available for infants. Bikes with tow carts or handle bar mounted carriers also available. Maximum number of guests is 5 including infants.
Please advise if there are infants in your group. The rate is $10 per night for children under 2 years of age and includes all extra amenities for the kiddies. Standard pricing is based on 2 guests with an additional $15 for extra occupants.
