1021557This was a special stay for our families (13 of us) , we were spending five days for Thanksgiving. A lot of planning went into this trip, my husband and I spent hours and hours mulling over places to stay in Gatlinburg on VRBO. Then we stumbled over this magnificent beauty! At the time older photos were online and we just loved the place. You can imagine our surprise when we received the updated photos showing even more beautiful new furnishings, brand new matresses and furniture. If you think this Lodge look stunning online... please believe me that your breath will be taken away when you arrive! You pull into a beautiful gated driveway only to look up to the Lodge. As soon as you get out of your car you hear the beautiful sound of the babbling creek to your left. Oh... and then the bridge!!! It crosses the creek to the most amazing fire pit ! When you walk through the door... breath taking!!! Everything is picture perfect and immaculately clean. Every detail is taken into consideration... from the furnishings to the utensils in the kitchen. Sarah had Christmas decorations up! Three beautiful trees and decoration through out! This was so special to us! What a special touch! We were spending Thanksgiving here and cooking for seven adults and six kids ranging from 17 to 7. We had more than we needed. The gas fireplaces in the main living room and the downstairs game room were so cozy and beautiful! Gatlinburg is convenient to get to from the Lodge, and Food City is very close and a very nice grocery store. Chris the owner is so kind and really wants every guest to have a great stay, he was available and more than accommodating before and during our stay! We loved seeing everyone not on cell phones and computers! Even though we could be because there is WIFI... everyone was busy building fires, playing in the creek, lounging by the fireplace, relaxing on the balcony or hot tub, or exploring in the woods... we also did have a blast on the arcade games ...many of us have our name on for top score on Centipede! :) I could go on and on... our Family made many memories that we will never forget at Laurel Creek Hideaway Lodge! Thank you so much Chris and Sarah we look forward to coming back again and we will always recommend your Lodge!

1021557Upon arrival our group was starving Chris and Sarah had provided a basket full of snacks that was Immediately devoured!! Lifesaver! The house was great! We had a house full of 15 year old boys. They loved the arcade games, pool table and foozball..they also set up their own ps4 in the same room so it was an all out game room! They enjoyed the basketball goal and the woods and creek. There was room for everyone to eat outside on the picnic tables and the adults enjoyed laughing around the kitchen table as well as chilling in the rocking chairs outside taking in the beautiful view! We would definately stay here again

1021557This property was simply breathtaking!The pictures does not do justice of how beautiful this cabin is. When my family and I first walked into the cabin we were amazed by how new and clean the cabin looked. The rooms were big and spacious. The beds were extremely comfortable. The children had their own separate space; away from the adults, which allowed them to enjoy themselves. The kitchen was equipped with all the necessary cooking essentials needed to make a holiday feast. The bonfire made this trip extra special. We enjoyed everything about the cabin and can't wait to stay here in the future.

1021557We enjoyed our stay! The cabin and its surrounding is beautiful! It has plenty of space and has all that is needed to truly experience a great winter vacation. The owner Chris is very responsive and accommodating. We look forward to returning soon!
