I am a former television news reporter and anchor, and am now an innkeeper by one of the prettiest beaches in South Florida. I love what I do and my staff and I do everything we can to ensure our guests have a wonderful and memorable stay.
We are a year-round destination so we draw people from all over the United States and all over the world. During Winter, we mainly attract retired or semi-retired "snowbirds" from the Northeast and Canadians from Montreal and Toronto. During summer, we draw Europeans who get six weeks of vacation during July and August, South Americans whose winter is during our summer, contractors from outside of Florida who come to work on projects and avoid higher priced winter stays, cancer patients who go back and forth each day for treatments, but want a quiet, serene place to come home to, families with children off from school for summer vacations, people who need temporary housing while they relocate to Florida, locals who want a "staycation" by the beach, visiting friends and families of locals who wish to stay near, but not with, their relatives.
Our boutique properties are all members of the Superior Small Lodging Association, so we have to meet much higher standards than traditional accommodations to qualify for this status. We are multiple White Glove Award winners from the association and get top reviews. I try to keep my rates the most reasonable in the area because I am both the owner and operator with no middleman. We offer comfort, charm and value at all of our properties. I created places that I would love to stay at myself, so my apartments and cottages are thoughtfully equipped with many more of the comforts of home than you would find at a timeshare or extended stay.

1014953This place was super nice. Staff was friendly and helpful. Everything was clean, the bed comfortable. Very convenient, a couple of blocks from the beach and walking distance to restaurants and a beachside park. My stay was very enjoyable and would recommend it.

1015070We travel with our dog all the time, finding a place that allows pets is not easy. Searching the web we decided to take a chance. We stayed 2 weeks at "Sunny Place" and were very happy with the accommodations. It was equipped with everything you could possibly need and it was a block from the beach. It was also close enough to many things that we walk to. We plan to visit "Sunny Place" again.

1015070The place only has 4 units, all very well equipped with most every need. Only a block from the beach and parking for 2 vehicles which is very rare this close to the beach. Quite secluded private patios with electric BBQ grills at each unit too! Beach towels and other needs are also found inside the units. Family games for the kids in all units also. Cable, phone, are ok, but the WiFi tends to always have to be reset by the maintenance man. So you might expect outages. They are very nicely decorative and cared after. Laundry on site at only $1 per wash and $1 per dry! We made our 3 month stay here just like at home. Definitely will return when in Pompano Beach

1015070My wife and I were able to spend 37 days in Pompano Beach, staying at Sunny Place cottage. No it is not a lagoon, but it is peaceful and one block off the shoreline of the Atlantic Ocean. All we had to do was walk around the corner and east toward the beach, not having to cross any major highways or thoroughfares. We walked to the pier every day. (We are saddened to hear that it is being torn down and replaced, but will not be finished until 2019). Restaurant selections were varied from sandwich prices to gourmet meals. The temperature was perfect nearly every day. We had only 3 days out of 37 that were cool and rainy; and they did not last long. By afternoon it was warm enough to be out again in shirtsleeves. Elaine helped to accommodate us through her maintenance staff, although needs were minimal. I would highly recommend this place for relaxation. We are not into night life, nor entertainment facilities. Like any other place one often makes it whatever he/she wants it to be. For us it was wonderful.
