1008282We took our three sons for a 4 day escape to the beach from NYC. We had a wonderful time. The apartment is a 2 minute walk from the boardwalk and the beach. It is a 5 minute walk to a few shops, a big grocery store, and the A train. There is a one car garage with a bicycle and helmet (bring a lock). The caretaker told me there is another bike being repaired. The caretakers, Blanca and Gilberto were kind and attentive and very responsive when I had questions. The apartment is clean, bright, pretty and well-supplied. Each of the three bedrooms has a TV and plenty of closet space. The living room/kitchen has a table that seats 4 and a countertop with 2 chairs. There is a small sofa in the TV area. A couple more comfortable chairs would be great. (We brought our beach chairs inside!) There is no outdoor patio or living space, which was a little disappointing, though there is a BBQ. We had a wonderful time and will definitely try to rent here again!

1008282we enjoyed this house in Rockaway because it was big enough for our family of 6.5, very new construction, nicely appointed and good location. Sonia was very nice and helpful. Good photos on the site, short walk to beach and shopping. Very clean. Long narrow staircase up to bedrooms.

1008282My family thoroughly enjoyed staying here! It's a block from a clean and very charming beach. My sons' girlfriends enjoyed walking the shore looking for seashells while my sons played frisbee. I highly recommend Boardwalk Pizza, just a short walk away, and the best NY pizza I've had. Their chicken marsala specialty pizza is to die for, especially after a day of sun and surf.
Tricia's photos are dead on, a true match to the unit. It's clean, airy, and comfortable and everything was in working order. We'll definitely rent it again.
