When Can We Go Back?

Part of me doesn't want to share any details about this amazing property. From my initial contact with Marilyn and Rich, I knew this was the place for my family. They were so helpful in answering all our questions. From the time we arrived, we felt like we were at a resort. We loved the welcome basket, the robes in each room, all the different types of coolers, and the pool floats. We were also super appreciative of the beach umbrella and wonderful backpack chairs. I am not one to like to cook on vacation. However, with a kitchen and a view like this one, we stayed in and cooked two dinners. The kitchen was so well stocked and the grill is in a perfect location on the deck. We loved coming home from the beach and swimming at the pool and sitting in the hot tub. We loved all the different places to sit outside and especially appreciate how there were some shady spots to sit as well. The set up of the house is simply perfect and we had a constant breeze that was delightful. We walked down the path to Hart Bay a few times. It was one of our favorite things about the house. We found so much sea glass and many other treasures. We even saw an octopus at low tide. It is definitely a good idea to wear sneakers as you hike the path. If someone is not used to hiking and exercising, it could be a challenge. Favorite Restaurants for dinner Morgan's Mango and Ocean 362. Favorite Restaurants for lunch: Aqua Bistro and Skinny Legs. Things we would remember for next time (hopefully next summer), portable speaker to bring to the beaches, a few more thin beach towels. There are wonderful thick beach towels provided at the house. They were perfect for beaches in close proximity to the car (e.g., Maho) They were a little heavy for hiking to more remote beaches (e.g., Lemon Cay) Snorkeling at Maho and Little Lamshur was amazing! We saw so many turtles, a moray eel, a black tip shark, and many fish! Since we have returned home, there have been many times when we say aloud to each other, "When can we go back?" Thank you so much Marilyn and Rich! We are so grateful St. John continues to rebuild and we can't wait to return.
