Montreaux International Jazz Festival is an annual music festival that has been witnessing the performance of legendary artists, iconic singers and many everlasting bands, such as Deep Purple, Led Zeppelin, Chuck Berry, Pink Floyd, Carlos Santana and Eric Clapton since 1967. Founded by Claude Nobs, the festival is no more limited to only Jazz artists. In other words, other music styles also found their respective places within the famous Festival; hence, Montreaux International Jaxx Festival sharing a common connection of musical curiosity.

The festival goes for two weeks, this year the Montreauc International Jazz Festival will be held from 3rd of July till 18th of the same month. A shrine for all musicians and music lovers, Montreaux turns into a space where time stands idle and witnesses the magic of music that happens in a routine. Personalities like Stevie Wonder, Miles Davis, Aretha Franklin, Prince, Marvin Gaye, Ray Charles, Nina Simone and David Bowie have been a part of this Festival and have enthralled the passionate music fans. In 2013, the archival collection was added by UNESCO to the prestigious program called Memory of the World.
