Visiting the capital city of Italy will bring you a lot of memories. Florence is power packed with incredible number of attractions and fun spots; this is why the streets are always crowded all through the year. Sites, such as the Accademia, the Duomo, Bargello sculpture museums, the Uffizzi Gallery and castles and churches with attractive fresco keep pulling visitors from different corners of the world.
The weather has a little thing to do in Florence. If you are all set to make a vacation of a lifetime with your family in Florence, better make a list of things that interest you the most or just go through the blog and get your answer.
Shed Some Light on Florence’s Weather:
Florence’s’ geographical location boasts some of the finest weather in Europe. Spring is great to vacation with your loved ones. Weather can be a blessing or a curse for vacationers; it largely depends on the time of year due to its river valley location. Natives are already getting pampered on the rooftop patios by late February and early March. April is also great if you are looking forward to find clearer skies.
Vibrant Festivals:
Piazza di Santa has been playing a major role of being the venue of Florence’s most celebrated festival. The indigenous people come in large number to compete in costume in a festival similar to rugby. It is the older version of soccer. Art lovers are invited to visit Florence in mid-June till summer ends. The city is filled with cultural flavor as the Estate Fiesolana Festival charms everyone with brilliant art shows, concerts, theater performances and local music
Avoid a Florence Vacation in August:
August is the holiday period for the Florentine. You might not get a warm welcome as you step in the city. Streets are empty with many shops and restaurants are shut down for the entire month. Weather is excessively hot and humid.
