Great place to stay!

Windsor Place 107 June 2 - June 9
Check in was fine; however when we arrived at the unit we found a note saying dishwasher was broken and would be repaired on Tuesday. No one at the rental office told us anything about this (but they did tell us a picture was broken?). We had planned to cook our meals since we had a small child with us, but had to change these plans. On Tuesday, no one came to replace dishwasher, so I had to call and check on it. After being told she did not know the status and would have to check, I voiced my frustration. Her response was, "I know how you feel, I'm out of dishwasher detergent myself." The repairman came Thursday night to replace it, but we had a sitter who was not comfortable with letting a stranger in, so it was Friday before we had a dishwasher. I do appreciate the check for $180, but this was terribly inconvenient and did substantially alter our vacation. In addition, the dishes in the cabinets were filthy. The old dishwasher reeked. The floors were so dirty that our feet turned black after we walked on them. It's been many years since I've visited HHI, and perhaps for what we paid, this is standard. But I will not use your service again.Nan B.

This was our first trip to Hilton Head Island, and we had a wonderful experience. Windsor 107 was clean and had most of the amenities of home. My only complaint would be that the unit could use more bath towels. The management agency was very competent and responded quickly to emails. The pool and beach were easily accessed from Windsor 107. I highly recommend this property.Penny M.

Dusty and Moldy
Great location and condo but the wear on the condo was unacceptable. The build up of dust in the air ducts, ceiling fans, and other areas was awful and the mold in the master bathroom was to a level at which we would not use the shower in there. Far too much money paid for a place is such bad condition.

Unit #107 needs attention
We love HHI and the condo is wonderfully located. But unit #107 needs attention. The mold and mildew problems previously reported about this unit have NOT been corrected. On our last day I found sources of mold and/or mildew and have photos. The master bath vanity, shower head and the shower door plastic sweep (on the lower track) should be replaced. Working exhaust fans in both bathroom (that actually draws air, not just rattles) would be helpful too. I see this being a health problem if not corrected properly soon. Unit #107 could be a fabulous unit, but it needs better general maintenance and professional mold remediation, not DYI.Mark B.

Hilton Head Quick Getaway
Sea Turtle Getaways was wonderful to work with. They provided ALL the details necessary for our stay and it was very easy. The condo was in a great location, and we had a fun time. The only thing about the condo is that I feel it is really appropriate for 4 people because the 2nd bedroom has 2 small twin beds and the pull out sofa is not very comfortable.

Month stay at the beautiful beach
The location was wonderful. The staff was very helpful when we called about the fire alarm beeping and fix it in a timely manner . When we checked in the bathroom rugs were dirty. The microwave does not work correctly, do not cook popcorn in it,trust me. I dusted and cleaned when we checked in,I do not think anyone had been in that unit lately. It really needs a new couch. Which I know you can not do anything about. We want to come in Febuary next year maybe you can help us out. Thanks, CeceliaCecilia W.

8 yrs at windsor properties
I was very pleased with the condo. Very clean and comfortable. Love the first floor with the view. I don't like that your have to go to sea turtles to pick up packet with parking pass.Jonelle W.

My family and I arrived the same day a tropical storm came through the area. The condo was immaculate. The pool and grounds were littered with debris however were cleaned by the end of the first day. The only recommendation I would have is to bring your own towels, linens and trash can liners. The condo was beautiful and sunrises from the beach were amazing.Glen A.

Spring break in HH
We have huge mixed feelings about our rental in Hilton Head. The positives were:*We had plenty of room for our family of 4*The location IS PERFECT, a quick, short walk to the pool and nice walk to the ocean.*We had ocean view and it was quiet.*When we noted issues, the maintenance man was sent over immediately, (Thank you) However, we feel that they haven't kept up with the needed maintenance or have suffered some sort of damage due to flooding for such reasons:*The kitchen flooring had gaps where boards should meet, but didn't, yet the replacement flooring was in the utility closet.*There was a musty, mildew, smoke smell that made us all sick and was in all of our clothing*Black mold was on the shower faucet in the master bedroom*Both balcony screens did not work well and had holes in them*Multiple Holes in random walls or ceilings*It appeared clean, but overall condition was not up to par. We would absolutely stay in Palmetto Dunes again, but not in this unit.
