Victorian Home located in the Historic Broadway/Bliss-Kay section of town. It is one of the original homes built in this neighborhood dating from 1880's. It has wide pine plank floors and most of the original glass windows and frames. The neighborhood is entirely residential but just one block up is Broadway where the best restaurants in Newport are located.
The house has a relaxed feel. It is mainly antiques collected from our family however, there are bits of art from our travels around the world. It has gas stove in the living room (winter), hardwood floors throughout, wifi, cable, hot tub (winter), and beautifully maintained.
It has three and two half bedrooms. Two queen beds and one king bed. Two of those bedrooms have sitting rooms with pull out, full futons (super thick comfortable mattress). Two people can sleep in each bed=10 people. WAIT! There is more! Some one could crash on the sofa in the living room=11 people. Or you could bring your own blow up mattress and set it up in the living room=12-13 people.
It has a great kitchen for cooking and entertaining around the island. Equipped with dishwasher, gas cooktop and oven, microwave, toaster, refrigerator and utensils.
We have information here to make you feel right at home. We have restaurant recommendations, brochures, ironing board, blow dryers, movies, books, recommendation guide, etc, etc. Relax in the living room on the rocking chairs or lounge in the hot tub on the back porch under the stars in the winter. BBQ grill is on the back porch with the 4 person hot tub. Fire pit is in the back yard as well as table and chairs.
Thames Street is only a 15 minute walk. The beach is only one mile away. Museums, Mansions, Vineyards, Festivals await you.
Grocery store is 1 mile away. Liquor stores 1 block away. Restaurants and diners, few blocks away.
Free, safe, street parking right in front of the house. Trolley/bus stop one block away. Commercial airport 30 minutes away. Private plane airport 3 miles away.
Bring your Bikes or we can arrange to have bikes waiting for when you arrive. You will never have to move your car.
Monthly and Weekly rentals during high season. Weekends are allowed off season.Prices are based on weekly rates. Please inquire for less than a week for a Special offer

The neighborhood is quite with easy going neighbors. There are a few parks around. It is only a mile to the beach.
Public transportation is one block away but the locals just walk, bike or scooter around town.

Please, when you leave, strip the beds and put all the used linens in the second floor bathroom tub.
If you drank and eaten, please replace any food you used with something of like-compliment. Please clean up after yourself...there is dishwasher to help you with that.
Please remove your shoes in the house and be eco-conscious.
