The weather didn't cooperate, but everything else was fine. We got in 3 rounds of golf, and had a lot of good sea food from the local restaurants. The beaches in the area are just beautiful. They have to be some of the best in Florida. Views from the condo were great.

Unit looks better in person....loved the new carpet and bathroom updates. Best of all, the mattresses were very comfortable!! View is good...can see the shallow end of the pool.

Perfect Condo
This is my third time to rent with My Vacation Haven. Everything went great. Second time to rent this condo. Very clean. Linens nice.Kitchen well stocked. Beach chairs and umbrellas perfect. Easy access to the heated pool and beach.

Great customer service from MVH. Westwinds could have done better
Westwinds was having building work done and our original condo didn’t even have patio furniture when we arrived. We were told we wouldn’t have patio access. I asked MVH to move us and they did with little hesitation. We ended up in a nicer two bedroom for the same price as the one bedroom we originally booked. Great customer service!! My only complaint was the pool water temp. It was only about 80 degrees out during our stay and Westwinds never raised the pool temp. Almost no one was swimming during our stay because the pool was just too cold. We’ve been staying at Westwinds for years and never had that issue. Our one year old son cried when we put him in the water because it was too cold. Our 5 year old daughter’s teeth were chattering Westwinds should pay more attention to the fact that no one was swimming and raise the water temp when it’s obviously too cold.

Westwinds 4740 was great!
Even though it rained most of the trip we had a great time in part due to the great condo we stayed in. Beautiful setting facing the beach, nicely furnished, and well located to great restaurants and entertainment.

Winter get away
We recently returned from our annual winter get away to San Destin Beach Resort. We have vacationed there for several years and love the location. The resort is close to shopping and lots of restaurants. Though the property we stayed at was not our preferred choice it did have a good view and the on site amenities are very nice. The grounds were well maintained and clean. However, we were very disappointed when we were told by My Vacation Haven less than a week before our extended vacation that our reserved property was no longer available due to a maintenance issue. My Vacation Haven offered us several other rental locations that were not as nice as our previously requested unit. After several attempts to locate something that would meet our request, as a last offer, they suggested this unit as an available option or to refund most of our money. As we had non refundable travel arrangements made we decided to accept this unit even though we didn't have an opportunity to preview it ahead of time other than online. My Vacation Haven did offer some compensation for our inconvenience.What we weren't able to see was the rust on the guest bathroom tub drain, the dirty and scuffed walls and the stained fabric seats of the dining room chairs. In addition the dining chairs and sofa sagged and were very uncomfortable. We did notify My Vacation Haven regarding these concerns and they sent someone over to clean some of the walls but did not do anything with the chairs or sofa so we covered them with towels so we would not be constantly reminded of their condition. We appreciate the owner making this unit available for an extended stay (5 weeks) on such a short notice. If the owner or maintenance made the recommended repairs and updates, this unit would be a very nice condo to rent on a long term basis and I would highly recommend it to friends or family.

Nice Unit with Nice View
Overall the unit was very nice and well maintained. The view from the Balcony was very good. The Master BR mattress needs to be replaced, left me with a sore back. Pillows were too large and hard to sleep on. The property was well maintained but I can't believe there is no ice machine for guest. First condo I ever stayed in where I had to drive off to secure ice for the day.
