The Whale is a wooden house situated just 100 yards from the bay,in one of the most charming streets of Dunmore Town, Harbour Island.
Entering the street garden, with shrubs and flowers, you access a large porch, with a nice sea view, four armchairs and two fans.
From the porch you reach a spacious living room (30 x 24 feet) with a dining area (table for ten people).
On the ground floor there is also a second bedroom, with ensuite bathroom, and a guests toilet.
On the first floor you will find the master bedroom, with ensuite bathroom, and a direct access to the sun deck.
From the living room you can join the traditional Bahamian kitchen, with a double French door leading out to a paved patio, completely private from the street, equipped with two dining tables (six and eight people), one of them shaded by a roof.
From the patio you can access the third bedroom, with an ensuite shower room, and the outside staircase leading to the sundeck.
The very large sundeck offers a spectacular view over the bay and the harbour, especially at sunset, and, from a corner, allows you to see also the ocean and the entrance of the Harbour Island bay.
At the back of the property there is a large garden, with palm and coconut trees, shrubs and flowers, and a gazebo.
The Whale has been completely restored in 2010.
The three bedrooms and the living room have a new, silent air conditioning system, with four independent units.
There is also a wifi internet and a TV in the living room.
