About The Area

Treasure Cay is a "walk-to", sleepy little town that has been named as having one of the TEN most beautiful beaches in the world by National Geographic magazine.  The island has phone service, bad TV, and the Internet.  Other than that it has changed little over the years.  The alternate mode of transportation is golf cart or bike of which both can be rented there.  The marina is across the street and has fishing charters, boat rentals, a dive and snorkel shop, restaurant and open air bar.  Next door to the marina in the town center, are the grocery store, liquor store, bakery and the bike and golf cart rentals.  There’s a golf course about a half mile down the road.  A lot of people do not realize that the Bahamas are made up of 700 islands.  Besides Treasure Cay, there are islands that are only accessible by boat or ferry.  These are fun to explore.  Elbow Cay, Green Turtle, and Guana Cay are ones we would recommend as starters.  If you rent your own boat, there are also many uninhabited islands to play Robinson Caruso on.  You can hire a fishing charter that will take you fishing and then to an uninhabited island to prepare your catch for lunch.  Guana Cay has a beach bar and grill that has a Pig Roast on Sunday that you can ferry over to on Prozac, the ferry boat out of Treasure Cay Marina.  The world's 3rd largest barrier reef is off their beach and you can snorkel right off the beach.  There are umbrellas and chairs at the Bahama Beach Club beach free of charge for you to use but are on a first-come, first-served basis.  There are also charcoal grills available outside each building that are on a first-come, first serviced bases. There is also a pool bar and grill there as well.  There is a fresh water shower to rinse off and then go to dinner.  Swim suits are the most common attire.

Treasure Cay is one of the safest and friendliest family islands located in the Northern Bahamas on Great Abaco.

Absolutely Amazing A++++++++

My wife and I spent 5 nights in this gorgeous condo. We were very relaxed here and everything about this condo was just perfect for us two. The decor is exceptional and it evident the owners of this condo wanted to do everything to ensure a comfortable stay. The beach is absolutely gorgeous and we loved the fact that we could go back to the condo to eat lunch and then return to our beach chairs. This place is truly top notch and we would love to return with our 3 teenagers in the near future. The owners are exceptional and the service provided by Cookie was excellent. One of the most memorable vacations!!!! Recommended for: Tourists without a Car, Romantic Getaway.

PERFECT Condo!!

My husband & I had a chance to finally go back to Abaco. We've stayed at many places over the years but this was absolutely it! No place like it! We only used 1 of the bedrooms and it was a bit more than we needed but so worth it. We are going to try to book now for 2016. The décor was just like our home in FL. Can't say enough about this fabulous place. Thank you so much to the Owners and to Cookie!!! Recommended for: Families with Young Children, Sightseeing, Girls Getaway, Tourists without a Car, Adventure Seekers, Age 55+, Romantic Getaway, Families with Teenagers.

Love this condo!

This place was gorgeous! Loved that all the rooms have ceiling fans; loved the televisions; loved the master bedroom/bath. Also thoroughly enjoyed the screened porch, had a great time sitting out there. Gorgeous views. We will definitely be back.

Perfect trip for wife's 50th birthday!

There is no better place for a private pilot to fly to than Abaco and stay in this condo at the Bahama Beach Club. Everything was as detailed and my wife loved the designer furniture and wall treatments. The Beach is one of the best we have ever visited and there are plenty of activities if you need more to do. There is a well stocked grocery store nearby so you don't need to bring anything. I highly recommend this place and will be planning a return visit soon.

Great Again

We just got back from our second stay at this condo...our first stay was last summer. This trip was just a good as last year. The condo is in great shape and has just about anything you will need for a beach vacation. There is a nice view from the screened in porch that overlooks the grounds, one of the pools and the beach. The beach is a short walk from the condo and it is absolutely perfect! We had more company on the beach this summer than last, but it is by no means crowded. It is a gorgeous beach! Don't hesitate to rent this place. You won't be disappointed!

PERFECT Condo!!

If you are going to the Bahama Beach Club, this is the condo that you want to stay in! The owners have done a fantastic job with their place. The condo is up to date, clean and decorated meticulously. We saw a couple of other condos while there and they didn't even come close to the beauty of this condo. We were there during the off season so the pool restaurant hours were less than ideal and the main restaurant was only open 3 nights out of 7 there. However, we rented boats and traveled to different nearby islands on several days and were able to enjoy some restaurants on these islands!

Perfect

We just spent 9 nights at this condo and we enjoyed it very much. It is equipped with everything you need for a great vacation. The views from the patio are unbelievable! You look right out over the grounds of the complex, the pool and the beach. The beach is one of the best we have ever seen, and no one is on it! Granted, we were there in the off season, but it was perfect. This is a place to come if you want to unwind and totally relax, which is exactly what we did. The complex has a pool bar/restaurant that was only open for lunch while we were there but the menu was fine and had plenty of choices. It is open for dinner during the busier months. We ate at the Spinnaker Restaurant a few times. The food is fine, they really try to do a nice job there. We also at at Treasure Sands which I do recommend. It has a beautiful spot right on the beach and the food is good there, although expensive, as is much of the island. We drove to Marsh Harbor one day for dinner and ate at the Angler Restaurant at the Abaco Beach Resort. That was good too. We took the ferry over to Hope Town one day. Nothing was open because it was in late August, but we had a very nice lunch at the Harbor's Edge Restaurant. I would like to go back to Hope Town when it is busier. Very cute little town and worth a trip over. The people on Abaco are lovely. The owners of this condo were extremely easy to deal with and very helpful with anything questions. I would stay here again and and plan to when we return. You won't be disappointed to rent this condo. It is perfect.

Beautiful condo on a Stunning Island

This was my first experience with VBRO and it couldn't have gone better. The communication to set up the reservation was wonderful. They communicated quickly and everything discussed was executed. They also provided phone numbers to assist with arrival. The condo was just stunning. It was beautifully decorated, yet comfortable. It had all the amenities you could want (TV and ceiling fans in every room, along with free Wifi which is always nice). I highly recommend this condo over anything else in the complex, you will not be disappointed.

Fabulous Rental Property!

This was a beautiful place to spend our vacation. The pictures did not do it justice. The condo is just as described and no expense was spared in furnishings and decor. You walk in and are instantly taken with the beauty. The owners provided me with the name of their local property manager who did some pre-arrival shopping for us which was a huge plus. The taxi driver they recommended was also very friendly and helpful. The owners made all the planning for our time in Treasue Cay very easy and it was greatly appreciated. We loved seeing the ocean and beautifully landscaped grounds from the lanai. The furniture on the lanai is very comfortable. (much, much better than the plastic furniture I noticed on other porches. The staff there is very friendly especially at the poolside bar where we dined several times. The beauty of the beach and water is breathtaking. I've never felt such soft, deep sand anywhere else. We enjoyed snorkeling the very large reef off of Great Guana Cay and visiting a few other islands with Captain Mark's charter service. I will highly recommend this place to friends and family. The pace is relaxed, the weather is beautiful and I could have walked on that beach forever
