David and Stacy were a pleasure to deal with from start to finish. They answered all our many questions about the Villa and surrounding area and gave us confidence to book, what for us, is the holiday of a lifetime. The Villa Facebook page gave us so many good ideas for fun things to do and kept us up to date as our holiday approached. We only managed to do a handful of the things we planned. The Villa is so beautiful and calming all we wanted to do was relax on the sun decks and take in the surroundings. The garden is wonderful filled with so many tropical plants and shrubs. Herbs grow by the outdoor grill and limes in the front garden. Humming birds and Iguanas are regular visitors. I have no hesitation recommending Oyster Pearl and hope to return again on day SOON!

Extraordinary Beach front villa
Oyster Pearl Villa sits up high on a bluff overlooking the water with amazing views. There's gradual steps from the villa down to an incredible sun deck (great for doing yoga in the mornings) and further down to a beautiful empty beach. The Westin is a short walk down the beach which was great for grabbing a drink and watching the Superbowl. The villa is beautifully furnished but casual enough to feel relaxing with private spaces for all. Lovely pool, great water toys and areas for lounging in both the sun and shade. The gardens surrounding the villa are impressive as is David the owner. He was an incredible host, pointed us in the directions of many wonderful restaurants, areas on the island to see and helpful all the way around. We would not hesitate to recommend Oyster Pearl and would love to visit again.

Our week in Paradise.
We needed a property that was all on one level for wheelchair access. There is a small step up to the Villa level and after that the whole villa is level. The only problem was the toilet door that was not wide enough but that was soon fixed by removing it, which was attended to immediately. With all the rooms having shower and bathrooms privacy wasn't an issue. Although the drive way is steep there is enough flat land by the entrance to the villa for the Taxi Van to unload. We took Davids advice on several restaurants that where wheelchair friendly, Canoa being our favorite. The most wonderful thing was that the pool has nice steps that enabled it to be used by. We preferred the calm of the villa and only ventured to the beach once. Although I enjoyed walking along Dawn beach every morning. A big thank you to all the wonderful people on St Maarten who made our holiday memorable.

Nestled in the hillside just above Dawn Beach, the Villa has direct beach access from the garden. Now with new steps and beach side sun deck, it is even easier and quicker for you to swim in the warm, clear blue waters of Dawn Beach Bay. Facing due east, the cool sea breezes easily refresh your body, making the experience comfortable as well as beautiful.
Not only are you minutes away from one of the best snorkeling spots on the island, you are also within a short walking distance of a handful of the islands most impressive restaurants, including two fantastic beach bars.
The beach is shared only with a select few Villas in the area and the Westin Hotel, with Casino and excellent pool and hot tub facilities.
To cater for your every need, Villa Oyster Pearl comes with a fully equipped kitchen. cooking utensils, crockery etc,
In Villa Catering can be arranged from a Kid friendly meal when the family arrives back from a day out exploring to a romantic starlight dinner or dinner party with good friends.
There is a new sun deck by the beach for a little added privacy: beach equipment (including snorkel gear and body-boards) and free wireless internet are also available.
But then, who needs internet when you have intriguing garden wildlife, white sandy beaches and deep blue seas?

Security and Safety
St Maarten is 'The friendly Island'. It is a tropical paradise not a Utopia. Crime still happens, as with anywhere in the world, some precautions need to be taken.
Don't leave valuables in your car - not even the trunk.
Lock and secure all doors and windows when leaving your Villa.
Oyster Pearl is unique in that it is completely fenced and accessed by a drive way gate with remote operation. The beach access is also secured at night.
The Villa Manager also lives on site - unseen from the Villa.
Blackie, our Black Lab, although aging, is still an excellent watch dog.
Most Villas, especially ones that claim beach access, are not fenced or guarded.

Alternatively please send your name and address for the paperwork. You will receive an email with booking information and an Invoice. You then have 7 days to make flight arrangements and send in the deposit. On receipt of the deposit I will confirm the booking.
