L’Herité, a former fruit farm is now run as a family business and we are here to make sure that you have a great holiday and enjoy this part of France as much as we do. Our gite is fully equipped for self-contained holidays. Here you can relax, unwind, forget the stresses and strains of modern life and enjoy the peaceful French countryside. You could help feed the goat or try some home grown apples, pears, peaches and of course the world famous Pruneaux d’Agen. For the more active holiday-maker there is an abundance of activities on offer including walking, cycling, golf, horse riding and canoeing, as well as a nearby theme park and treetop adventure centre. A three minute drive away from your doorstep, Laroque Timbaut has amongst other facilities a market on Thursday mornings, a boulangerie, boucherie, pharmacie, post office, bank, small supermarket and sports facilities as well as some excellent restaurants and cafés.
Ideally situated for visiting some of France’s Plus Beaux Villages, notably Pujols, Montjoi, Beauville, Monflanquin you are assured of a warm welcome to this as yet relatively undiscovered part of France. All of this and yet only a 15 minute drive from the vibrant University town of Agen. We are looking forward to your visit.
