I have traveled my entire career throughout the world, stayed at fabulous hotels, rented a variety of apartments and this is my absolute favorite! THIS IS THE ONE
When I was planning our trip to London, I turned to Home Away, because we had used them so many times before and had always been pleased. London has hundreds of rentals and let me save you some time. THIS IS THE ONE. The location is perfect in the middle of a quiet residential street, a short walk to the Vauxhall Underground that will get you all around London, and with the Oyster Card traveling around the city is a breeze. There is a small grocery just outside the station if you need to pick up a few things, and a larger grocery minutes away. The apartment is nice and clean, well maintained. Nicely furnished, and when you are tired at the end of the day of sightseeing, it's home. There is a hotel chain that we walked by every day and though I did check into that as well, this apartment gives you a big bang for your buck!! The kitchen is delightful with new appliances and the double doors will lure you out to the patio where you can sit in a secluded garden. The washer is a big plus, no dryer but a drying rack is sufficient. Be sure to set your alarm because the bed is SO comfortable you won't want to get up. We did not frequent any of the restaurants in the area, because we ate in. I like to cook and to have such a great kitchen to fix our meals in was a treat. Okay, I stopped a few times to bring dessert home. Terry is a perfect host and is most helpful. Our two week stay here, was great. I definitely recommend this apartment and if I returned to London it would be the first property I would check for availability. The one restaurant I would recommend is Le Pain Quotidien which has many locations in London.

Wonderful Flat!
Excellent accommodation! This was our first time using this service to rent a flat/apartment and we were not disappointed with our choice. Its quite something to decide on a few pictures and the words of others to make a committment with people you have never met to rent their place but that is part of the adventure when you plan to travel! As others have said this flat is all that you would want in terms of amenities. Its location is a huge positive too; so close to the bus and Vauxhall station, grocery and dining. Ian is a great guy; immediately likeable and assuring. We felt that we were at home in terms of the safety and the ambiance. Strongly recommended.

Truly HOME!
This is now truly HOME for us. And what an amazing price! Ian warmly welcomed my 16 year old son and I totally prepared and patient with all our questions. The flat is conveniently and safely located with a 7 minute walk to the Victoria line (thus max 20 mins altogether to Covent Garden) and onstop train to Waterloo. There is a minicab at the ready 24/7 just meters away. Grocery store across the way. Neighbors kind. The livingroom is warmly decorated with gorgeous lighting and interesting library and the pullout is just right for a guest. The (BEST!) master bed is so darned comfortable that you'll need less but want more time in it! Bathroom is wonderful. My favorite place was the bright Kitchen/Dining area with every amenity and a garden nook. I daresay we're counting on returning and being spoiled once again in London!
