The Glitter Bay Suites location is so close to Holetown that you will be spoilt for choice with the array of quality eating establishments from beach bars to fine dining. Holetown is buzzing with shopping malls including the new Limegrove Mall, banks, supermarket, post office, 24 hour convenience stores to name a few, making Glitter Bay the perfect place for your Barbados holiday.
Glitter Bay Suites 409 – ‘The Penthouse’ is a two bedroom two bathroom apartment. This unit is located in the third block from the beach front and is on the fourth floor and has been remodeled and refurbished. The open plan living area makes it spacious, airy and bright with approximately 1300 sq. ft. of living space. This is one of the only true penthouses completely detached.
The air conditioned en-suite master bedroom, with ceiling fan, has a king bed, tropical wicker and pine furnishings, lots of cupboard and drawer space and leads out to the spacious balcony which has views of the gardens, pools and the ocean. The soft furnishings are in muted gold, cream and burgundy tints which lends serenity and charm to this spacious tiled room. There is a personal safe, cable TV and DVD player and the en-suite bathroom has a separate open bath and open shower and double sink Marfil vanity.
The second bedroom has three separate beds, two of which are made up to be a king, This bedroom is air conditioned, has a standing fan, and has an LCD TV with cable and DVD player which is ideal for children and teens. The cream cherry wood furnishings compliment the blue, grey and cream tones of the soft furnishings. The second bathroom is located in the hallway and has a curtained shower and a single sink Marfil vanity. Hair dryers are provided in both bedrooms.
The open plan living area is fully air conditioned and has a ceiling fan. The kitchen has black flecked wrap around granite counter tops, large sink, electric counter top hob and oven. The stainless steel fridge is spacious and has an ice maker and the kitchen is also equipped with a microwave and dishwasher. It is stocked with glassware, crockery, cookware, cutlery, pots, pans, bake-ware and kitchen linens. Here you can prepare your own gourmet meals or let the nearby patisserie and gourmet food shops in Holetown prepare your meals and deliver right to your door. Alternately, being close to so many great restaurants, cafes and bistros there is never a problem regarding eating out, the only problem is which one to choose!
The living area has two large double sofas, one of which is a pull out sofa bed. The entertainment area has a large LCD TV with cable, DVD player and music CD player. This is a perfect space for the family to spend time before retiring for the evening watching TV or playing one of the board or card games that the owners have supplied. The soft buttercup and taupe furnishings are enhanced by the brightly coloured local artwork which the owners have carefully chosen over the years visiting the island.
This apartment also has a washer and dryer, iron and ironing board for your convenience. All linens and towels are provided and beach towels are provided at Concierge. Laundry soap and fabric softener are not provided and should you wish personal laundry done this can be arranged with the housekeeper in advance and payable locally.

Here is a six seater round dining table with padded wrought iron chairs and a large banquet style seating area which is perfect for those sun downer drinks and pre-dinner cocktails.
