Each unit is tastefully furnished to the individual owners taste and come equipped with all modern conveniences that make it ideal for a self catering style holiday. The Glitter Bay Suites location is so close to Holet own that you will be spoilt for choice with the array of quality eating establishments from beach bars to fine dining. Hole town is buzzing with shopping malls including the new Lime grove Mall, banks, supermarket, post office, 24 hour convenience stores to name a few, making Glitter Bay the perfect place for your Barbados holiday.
Glitter Bay Suites 106 – ‘Shak-Shak’ is a three bedroom three bathroom apartment. This unit is located in the second block from the beach front and is on the ground floor and has been extensively remodeled and refurbished. It has a double living area and large spacious kitchen and approximately 2200 sq. ft. of living space. It is one of three apartments which has direct access from the patio to the pool and beach, ideal for families with children.
The air conditioned en-suite master bedroom, with ceiling fan, has a king bed, dark wood furnishings, lots of cupboard and drawer space and leads out to the spacious balcony which has views of the gardens and the pool. The soft furnishings are in muted taupe and cream hues which lends serenity to this spacious tiled room. There is a personal safe, cable TV and DVD player and the en-suite bathroom has a shower and granite vanity.
For the other two bedrooms, one bedroom is a king bed (which can be separated into twins) and the other has two single beds (which can be made into a king). They are both air conditioned with ceiling fans. Both have a TV and DVD player and one has cable TV which is an ideal set up for children and teens. The dark wood furnishings compliment the blue, green and rose tones of the soft furnishings. The second bathroom is located in the hall way between the master bedroom and the king bedroom and has a granite vanity and shower tub and the third bathroom is located off the living area and has a glass screened shower and granite vanity. Hair dryers are provided in all bedrooms.
The open plan living area fully air conditioned and has a ceiling fan. The kitchen has dark flecked wrap around granite counter tops and breakfast bar which seat 4, large sink, electric counter top hob and oven. The stainless steel fridge is spacious and has an ice maker and the kitchen is also equipped with a microwave and dishwasher. The kitchen is stocked with glassware, crockery, cookware, cutlery, pots, pans, bake-ware and kitchen linens. Here you can prepare your own gourmet meals or let the nearby patisserie and gourmet food shops in Holetown prepare your meals and deliver right to your door. Alternately, being close to so many great restaurants, cafes and bistros there is never a problem regarding eating out, the only problem is which one to choose!
The double living area has two seating area one with rattan sofa and tub arm chairs and on the side of the entertainment area there is a TV with cable, DVD player and music CD player, rattan sofa and side chairs. This is a perfect space for the family to spend time before retiring for the evening watching TV. The spaces are enhanced by the brightly coloured local artwork which the owners have carefully chosen over the years visiting the island.
This apartment also has a washer and dryer, iron and ironing board for your convenience. All linens and towels are provided and beach towels are provided at Concierge. Laundry soap and fabric softener are not provided and should you wish personal laundry done this can be arranged with the housekeeper in advance and payable locally.
The living area leads out to the very spacious balcony. Here is a six seater wooden dining table with padded rattan chairs and a large wall seating area which is perfect for those sun downer drinks and pre-dinner cocktails. The third patio is off the master bedroom and has two plantation chairs and foot stools. The high shrubs lends privacy to these spaces while allowing some views of the gardens and the pool past the towering coconut trees scattered on the property.
