\nYou need not hit the mountains or trek for miles for adventure fun. When in Tampere, you can spend a day at Sarkanniemi Adventure Park. A major theme park in the city, it brags off an aquarium, art museum and planetarium. If you are an adrenaline junkie, the park has thirty different rides, ranging from Tornado rollercoaster ride to a lazy log river ride. But, the rides are closed in winter.<\/p>\n
\nThe most renowned museums in Tampere are Vapriikki Museokeskus and Amuri Museum of Workers\u2019 Housing. The former museum further houses three other museums including the Finnish Hockey Hall of Fame, Doll Museum and Tampere\u2019s Shoe Museum. It hosts around 12 exhibitions every year. The latter showcases nine original buildings; each building houses artefacts from a particular period in history.<\/p>\n
