Spain: A Fine Example of Gastronomical Variety

Gastronomy and travel go hand-in-hand. People taking trips cannot just ignore the delicious part of it. Every tour is well complemented by some of the finest cuisines. Visiting Spain will not be an exception as you will have a great selection of culinary variety. The only way to have the best experience is to be like the locals, eat like the locals and explore as Spaniards. Underneath are given an extensive list of dishes that might trick you to have a bite.

Turron:
To taste turron, you do not have to wait till the main course is finished. This particular, mouth-watering Spanish dessert is exclusively found in the region of Catalan. Often considered as a perfect Christmas treat by the locals, turron is a must try if you are a first timer in Spain. The confection is prepared from egg whites, honey and sugar.

gazpacho

Gazpacho:
Gazpacho is a soup prepared with herbs, peppers, cucumbers, onions and tomatoes. The soup is an Andalusian specialty and is mostly eaten in summer. Vinegar and oil is added to make the cold soup tastier.

Tortilla Espanola:
A culinary trip to Spain is never complete without trying out the Spanish omelet. It looks so amazing that confining your taste buds will be a challenge. Mostly made from chopped onions, eggs and potatoes by adding salt and oil according to taste, tortilla Espanola is the typical Spanish omelet.

Any seafood lover out there will love this. Paella is a Valencia specialty. Shrimps or prawns are nicely stuffed with ingredients that taste superb.
