Damage Protection Terms Damage
Insurance Policy: You have the option of purchasing a $59 damage insurance policy through hkwvr which covers your entire party for up to $3000 of unintentional damages. This includes many unexpected everyday accidents from red wine spills and make up stains, to appliances and glassware. Most of our guests prefer this rather than being charged the full amount of the cleaning, repair or replacement of the damaged item. Your other option is a refundable $3000 security deposit.
CSA Damage Insurance for Unintentional Damage:
We require either a non-refundable $59 CSA Damage Insurance policy in place, or a $3,000 damage deposit paid in full with the signing of the contract. This CSA Damage Insurance plan covers unintentional damages to the rental unit interior that occur during your stay, provided they are disclosed to management prior to check-out. The policy will pay a maximum benefit of $3,000. Any damages that exceed $3,000 will be charged to the credit card on file. If, during your stay at one of our rental properties, an Insured person causes any damage to real or personal property of the unit as a result of inadvertent acts or omissions, the insurer will reimburse Historic Key West Vacation Rentals for the cost of repair or actual cash value of such property up to a maximum benefit of $3,000. Certain terms and conditions apply. Full details of the CSA Damage Insurance coverage are contained in the Certificate of Insurance Description of Coverage or Insurance Policy www.vacationrentalinsurance.com/10sdi.
By submitting payment for this plan, you authorize and request CSA Travel Protection and Insurance Services to pay directly Historic Key West Vacation Rentals any amount payable under the terms and conditions of the Security Deposit Protection. Please contact Historic Key West Vacation Rentals directly if you do not wish to participate in this plan or assignment, or if you prefer to pay the $3,000 damage deposit.
Cancellation and Refunds:
Monthly Rentals:
90 days or less prior to arrival date: There will be no refund, entire amount collected is forfeited.
91 days or more outside of arrival date: Full refund, less 10% of the total cost of the reservation or $500 whichever is greater, regardless of reservation date. In every case, travel insurance fees are not refunded. Notice of cancellation must be received in writing or email. We cannot return fees collected by third party web sites.
CSA Reservation Trip Interruption / Cancellation Insurance: Due to strict guidelines to Key West cancellation policies, we suggest that you purchase reservation/travel insurance for unexpected events such as illness, medical conditions, emergencies or weather issues. WE STRONGLY ENCOURAGE YOU TO PURCHASE CSA RESERVATION INSURANCE through us or through an agency of your choice. A quote can been provided upon request. Hurricanes: If you are traveling during Hurricane Season June 1-November 30, we strongly suggest you purchase CSA Reservation Travel Insurance. There will be no refunds for weather or for early departure due to evacuations.
